Theory and Practice
We believe it is essential for Black Belts to gain practical experience. Successfully completing an improvement project is, after all, tangible proof of your competencies. However, we understand that there is not always enough time for such a project. For this reason, this training consists of both a theoretical and a practical component.
- Theoretical Component: 10 training days for the Lean Six Sigma Black Belt theory certificate from Bureau Tromp.
- Practical Component: Under the guidance and assessment of our (Master) Black Belt consultants, you will carry out a Lean Six Sigma improvement project. Upon completion, you will receive the globally recognized Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certificate from The Council for Six Sigma Certification (CSSC).
Content of the Theoretical Part:
In 10 training days, you will learn everything about Lean Six Sigma. We will teach you all the tools from the Lean Six Sigma toolbox, and you will actively apply them yourself. Additionally, we place extra focus on stakeholder management, coaching skills, data analysis, change management, and program management.
To support learning, we use a variety of Lean games, exercises, videos, and practical simulations. This approach helps translate theory into practice, making it immediately applicable in your work environment.
Furthermore, we will explore the future of work processes and Agile working, as Lean Six Sigma plays a significant role in the current trend of digitalization and automation.
The training is practical and interactive. Our Master Black Belt consultant/trainer shares insights from personal experience. Participants are encouraged to provide real-world examples, and discussions are sparked using thought-provoking statements. This makes the theory come to life as a real, engaging story.
At the end of the theoretical part, you will take an exam and receive an official Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certificate from us.

- You execute the project following the Lean Six Sigma DMAIC structure
- You correctly apply the appropriate Lean Six Sigma tools
- Your project delivers measurable improvements in terms of time or cost savings
With expert guidance, you will quickly and effectively apply theory to practice, achieving significant results.
